The Oral Histories that form part of this project were conducted by the following students during the 2015 spring term:

Lindsay Asselmeyer
Lindsay is from Union Vale, New York and is in her junior year at Drake University. She is studying Marketing with specializations in Integrated Marketing Communications and Sales and Sales Management.

Phoebe King
Phoebe is a Junior Anthropology/Sociology major graduating in December. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and Co-Founder and COO of Surge Mental Health Advocacy.

Thaddeus Logan
Thad is from Des Moines, Iowa and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from Drake University as an Anthropology/Sociology major. While ‘Thad’ is not studying, he is a mentor to the men on his slow-pitch softball team both on and off the field.

Alyssa Scimeca
Alyssa is a senior at Drake University majoring in sociology and anthropology.

Eddye Vanderkwaak
Eddye is a sociology major with the goal of becoming a Juvenile Court Officer with Juvenile Court Services. Interest and advocacy work in the Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice fields.

Stephanie Wiens
Stephanie is a Senior at Drake University. She will be graduating in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Anthropology.
